This Little Light of Mine
"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." -Matthew 5:14 No doubt that you have heard of the great tragedy that has affected so many lives in Manchester, England. A senseless crime committed by a heinous terrorist group. My sympathy and prayers go to those affected by this incident. That brings me to my point tonight in " Closing Thoughts ." Have you ever noticed what happens when a small candle is lit in a totally darkened room? Suddenly, light permeates through the blackened space. Light overpowers the darkness. It's an analogy you've heard explained time and time again. These are dark days in which we live, friends; yet, we must not allow the darkness to dim our lights. If we live our lives in constant fear, the enemy has already won. How then, shall we live our lives? Beloved, we - you and I - are the light of the world. Let's be the light to those around us through our actions... our words... and ...
